The LGBT Bar Association Foundation of Greater New York is proud to be recognized as Non-profit of the Night at Brooklyn Nets Pride Night! The celebration will include a pregame on-court recognition ceremony, a halftime radio interview, a program information table, and nearly 100 seats of LGBT Bar NY community members cheering on the Nets against the Detroit Pistons.
Ticket sales will support the charitable work of our Foundation, including our free weekly legal clinic. Founded at the height of the AIDS epidemic, our legal clinic is run by volunteer attorneys who generously donate their time and expertise to respond to the unique legal needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Over the past 35 years, our commitment to fighting for the safety, equality, and dignity of all LGBTQ+ people has remained steadfast.
The Nets Unite games are part of the Nets United platform and aspire to build unity across Brooklyn, as the Nets embrace, celebrate, and foster equity by amplifying the rich traditions of the community. Pride Night celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community during the final full month of the 2023-2024 regular season.
